Lack of secure, convenient bicycle parking is an often-cited reason people don't cycle for transportation. To help communities address this problem, CMAQ funds are available to purchase racks at a discounted, bulk rate. The last and final deadline for purchasing discounted racks through this program is August 15, 2002. A program brochure, order forms and IDOT specs are available as pdf files below. For more information, contact Brian Gebhardt at (312) 793-0121.
