Public Comments Sought on Proposed FY 2008 CMAQ Program
The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) has released the proposed FY 2008 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program for a
30-day public review and comment period.
CMAP welcomes the public’s views and comments on these CMAQ proposals, which are designed to reduce congestion and improve air quality in northeastern Illinois. The proposed program consists of transit, bicycle/pedestrian and traffic flow improvement projects to reduce vehicle emissions and traffic congestion, as well as innovative projects designed to meet air quality and congestion goals.
