AGENDA

  1. Meeting notes from April 17, 2001
  2. Attachment 1 includes the meeting notes.

    Action: Approval

  3. Spring and summer media events
  4. The working group will recommend to the PITF the type of media event that will be held in the summer of 2001.

    Action: Discussion and recommendation

  5. Report on the results of the 2001 poster contest
  6. Staff will report on the results on the results of the 2001 poster contest. The task force members will begin discussing the follow-up use of the posters and whether a contest should be held next year.

    Action: Discussion

  7. Committee structure
  8. The Work Program Committee (WPC) requests that each committee and task force review its structure and mission statement and assess its viability. The WPC requests that the review include recommendations and changes if appropriate.

    Action: Discussion. Recommendations will be provided at the next task force meeting.

     

  9. Scope of consultant services for communications and 2030 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) audit
  10. Staff will report to PITF on the scope of work that will be performed in the communications audit and 2030 RTP public involvement strategy.

    Action: Discussion. See attachments 2 and 3 respectively.

  11. FY 2002 Task Force Projects
  12. Staff has prepared a proposal list of specific assignments that the task force will oversee/develop during the upcoming fiscal year. See attachment 4.

    Action: Discussion and approval of FY2002 work tasks.

Staff suggests that the next task force meeting be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2001.

Public comment is encouraged throughout the meeting agenda. The chair will recognize non-task force members as appropriate. The chair will have the discretion to limit discussion if it becomes redundant or is irrelevant.
